Background of the project
The Tokyo Asakusa Association, which works to revitalize the Asakusa entertainment district and promote performing arts culture, including by arranging for geisha in Asakusa, launched this project in the hopes of overcoming the effects of COVID-19, which has put the Asakusa entertainment district in an unprecedentedly serious situation, and protecting the culture of the Asakusa entertainment district.
