Background of the project
Albamos Osaka is a men's professional handball team based in Osaka and a member of League H. The name Albamos is a combination of "ALBA," which means morning sun in Spanish, and "VAMOS (Let's go!)," a cheer used to encourage teammates.
Daioh Seisakusho regularly purchases key chains and other parts from us, and we have built a relationship where they can immediately consult with our sales staff if there is a product they want to make. This time, they contacted us to say they wanted to make an "acrylic stand using photos of the players."
As this was our first time, we were not used to it, but we took photos through trial and error, such as posing, and received the request with a more or less solidified idea in mind, including the base and the cutting lines for the acrylic.
In order to respond to their enthusiasm, we incorporated our know-how to improve the product's perfection into the production of design data, such as a size that suits your budget, the brightness and color of the photo, and adjusting the cut lines of the acrylic to prevent breakage.
At the event where the products were sold, they were able to see the very happy faces of customers, and we were happy to hear that acrylic stands of all the players were sold at the first game.
They also said that they would like to try more creative poses next time to improve the quality of the photos, so we hope to be able to cooperate with them again.
