Could you tell us the reason for the commercialization and the background of your request?
Our company is mainly engaged in the express bus business centering on the Keihanshin area.
On September 4, 9, the event "Car Free Day 17 in Kanazawa" will be held in Kanazawa City, Ishikawa Prefecture for the purpose of experiencing and promoting public transportation. will also participate in the exhibition and goods sales.
In participating in the event, I wanted to make and sell original goods related to our Kanazawa sales office that can only be obtained on that day. I am contacting you with the intention of consulting with you.
Are there any points you were particular about when commercializing the product, such as materials and design?
There is an acrylic engine key holder that is used by the driver when driving the bus.
We asked if we could reproduce this for sale with an acrylic key chain of the same size and thickness, but unfortunately, if we were to make it exactly the same as the engine key chain that we actually use, the unit price would be higher. It was said that customers will no longer be able to buy it easily.
However, the person in charge explained and proposed an alternative manufacturing method that looks the same and can be made at a low cost in a way that even someone like me, who has no knowledge of manufacturing, could easily understand. We were able to commercialize it.
Do you have any impressions or points that you are glad to ask us?
Actually, when I made the request, it was less than a month until the event, but I had a history of being indebted to the production of other goods before, so it was very easy to consult and I felt at ease.
Also, it was very helpful that the delivery was earlier than the delivery date we wanted.I would like to thank the person in charge of your company for their prompt response, even if it was urgent.
When we sold the original acrylic key chain on the day of the event, it was cheaper than other goods sold at our booth, and since we had never had any goods with our logo, It was very well received and sold out on the same day.
