Background of cooperation

Rewarm Warmer is a popular name-engraved product for fall and winter that utilizes the principle that when aqueous sodium acetate solution is subjected to some kind of stimulus (such as vibration), it generates heat when it crystallizes due to a chemical change.
Sodium acetate aqueous solution is also used as a food additive to improve shelf life, and is safe even if it breaks and the liquid leaks, but usually the liquid and metal chip are already sealed so that there is no fear of liquid leaking. The metal chip is in stock in a completely sealed state, and until now we have not been able to sell or provide the metal chip alone.

The Yamanashi Prefectural Science Museum is encouraging children to draw with their own ideas in preparation for the colder months, as the process of Rewarm Cairo crystallizing into white looks like water turning into snow. It seems that it was planned to be used as the theme for a hand warmer craft experiment event.
Therefore, we have been asked if we could provide only the metal tips used in our rewarming body warmers.
In response to the desire to create an event where children can get interested in science and have fun learning, we are very happy that eco-friendly products are being used as part of learning as a company that is working on SDGs. I sympathized with the museum's thoughts and was happy to cooperate.

At the actual event, children were asked to freely draw illustrations and letters with a pen in a highly airtight transparent bag with a zipper.Then, they filled it with a sodium acetate solution and a metal tip and sealed it to create an original rewarming body warmer. This kind of valuable experience was very interesting for our company, and the content will be useful for future reference.
In the future, I would like to continue to do my part in creating opportunities for children to become interested in various fields through fun hands-on experiences.
